As an active non-profit, Akers Halfway House for Kittens is committed to protecting community animals from cruelty and neglect.

Our Mission is to rescue the abandoned and forgotten kittens from the predators and diseases that plague their surroundings.

We bring them inside, feed them, warm them medicated them, treat their wounds, and envelop them with love until they are ready for adoption
